Bongard & Lind and Outimex merging to Saferoad RRS.

On September 7, 2011, two German companies with a long tradition – Bongard & Lind GmbH & Co. KG and Outimex AG – have merged to form SafeRoad RRS (Road Restraint Systems) GmbH. Both companies have been members of Norwegian group SafeRoad AS since the end of 2010, resp. the beginning of 2011.

The consolidation creates a leading enterprise in the field of passive restraint systems and traffic safety with a significant market share, in Germany and internationally. As a full-service provider we will continue to serve our clients with one-stop comprehensive solutions: from the development and production to the sale and assembly of passive restraint systems and other solutions for traffic and road safety.
